Bishop Westcott Boys School was founded in the year 1927 by an English missionary named Rev. Dr. Foss Westcott. It was totally a boys school from the time it came into existence. This school was just open for Anglo-Indian children or missionaries. Later, the school was open to all. The school is located on the outskirts of Ranchi, in a place called Namkum. The place is easily accessible by road, rail, or by air. This place is known for its cleanliness and fresh air. The school places emphasis on tradition education.
